This "(Bear) On Wing and a Prayer" earned Honorable Mention after being entered in the 2007 Thread Artist Guild Annual Award Challenge. The TAG Challenge theme was to create a bear that would reflect an Axiom, Adage or Idiom. The entries in the challenge were judged on the following criteria: originality, presentation and how closely the piece reflected the challenge theme. Judging for the 2007 challenge included: Mary Robinson, Jan Nethercutt, Debi McCarthy-Beckett, Tammy Martin and Marianne Alexander.
